Q & A
Hi Costi, the only vegetarian Moroccan tagine option - that is traditional - is the Berber tagine, which is included in this ebook. It's all about the technique. Once you know how to make the vegetarian (Berber) tagine dish, you'll become a vegetarian tagine pro and will be able to make dozens of other vegetarian tagine dishes by mixing vegetables and experimenting. This ebook is all about the technique and focuses on 6 famous and easy-to-make tagine recipes, and a few additional dessert, salad and side dish recipes to create healthy Moroccan menus.
Hi Jonathan, you don't need to have a tagine pot. You can make these recipes in a regular cooking pot, the result will be tasty and flavorful!
On a side note, it is very common to break a tagine pot when it is in contact with heat. This ebook includes ways to protect your tagine pot and keep it for years to come. The tips will come in handy when you buy your next tagine pot!
No, you don't need a tagine pot. I made the recipes in a pot and they turned out really good. I highly recommend this ebook.
I printed the ebook, cut the recipe cards (each page is composed of two recipe cards), and used my son's adhesive laminating sheets to laminate each recipe card. Really easy. It took me 10 minutes total. Now I have these recipe cards in my kitchen and use them all the time. They save me a lot of time!!!
Absolutely! We selected in this ebook the easiest and most delicious Moroccan recipes. You just need to know the cuisine basics to make them.
The recipes are really easy. I am a beginner and I was able to make delicious tagine dishes from this ebook!
They are easy to make and they taste really good. I printed the recipes into recipe cards and I use them weekly. Worth every penny.
So many wonderful recipes. I am new to Tagine cooking. Very well written. I have already cooked several recipes. I also love the fact that you can print the ebook in the form of recipe cards. Printing was easy – I used my own printer – and I ordered laminating sheets from Amazone for less than $5. if you don’t use recipe cards yet for cooking, you are wasting a lot of time! I was introduced to recipe cards last year by my step-sister, since I started using them, I spent less time in the kitchen and I feel much more organized. Thank you littlemoroccanthings for the delicious tagine recipes and for giving us the option to print them in recipe cards!
I am very pleased with my purchase of this cookbook. If you are getting into Tagine cooking, this is pretty much all you need to get started! I wanted to learn the basics and techniques behind this style of cooking and wasn’t disappointed with the recipes included. A really good addition to your cookbook collection!
This is the 2nd one I purchase. It was a gift for my sister but I have one and feel it is a great starter cookbook for Moroccan cooking. I love the recipes in this cookbook. Have not made anything that’s not terrific tasting and easy to make.
Not all the recipes are for tagine. one is for Moroccan mint tea and one for Moroccan cookies which I can’t eat as I am on a diet. But I tried two tagine recipes and they were really good. I like the fact that I have the recipes with me on my phone and tablet. It means that I can make tagines when I visit my daughter. I don’t have a printer but I’m planning to print them at CVS. For the price ($0.20) it’s very worth it.
My favorite tagine cookbook.
