Our leather pouf ottoman is made in the oldest tannery in the world. The making process is truly artisanal from end to finish, using high-quality leather and dyes. The hand-made embroidery features a traditional floral stitch pattern with a snowflake design in the top middle and symbolizes Love and Protection in North African tribes. Unlike many similar leather poufs in the market, our Moroccan poufs are made to last. They will age beautifully.

Why does this pouf come unstuffed?
Hi Katy, our poufs come unstuffed for two reasons:
1- The pouf would cost on average $100 more if it was shipped stuffed, as we need to account for the expensive shipping and warehouse costs for large items. Some vendors cut costs by selling low-quality leather poufs or Moroccan counterfeit poufs.
2- To give customers the flexibility to define the pouf firmness. Many stuffed poufs on the market are not firm and cannot be used as seating poufs.
I ordered a stuffed pouf from another merchant a couple of years ago and it arrived with a firmness that wasn't what I was looking for. I had to buy additional polyester to make it more firm. When I think about it, it would have been way cheaper to order it unstuffed as stuffed poufs are generally more expensive.
